WIKIPEDIA: The School House was an early American television program broadcast on the now defunct DuMont Television Network. The series ran during 1949. It was a Vaudeville-inspired variety show/comedy starring Kenny Delmar, who portrayed the teacher. The series also featured such notable actors as Arnold Stang and Buddy Hackett.
The program, produced and distributed by DuMont, aired Tuesday at 9:00 PM on most DuMont affiliates. The series was cancelled after a few months. An early non-network version of the show, then titled School Days, starred Happy Felton as the teacher.
