Hey All.  Due to my crazy work schedule (I just finished getting our second store open) I kinda ducked out on this discussion, and I was the one who started it.  Roll Eyes

Well this is what I have been thinking would be a good thing for us as producers to do.

We can form our own "nonprofit" as producers and go after funding ourselves.  There is money available for Producers that the station cannot get.  If we work things correctly, we could also work toward providing things like insurance for equipment, more equipment, generating revenue for the station, and more support for each other.

Let me know what you think.

How about a new website?  That would make things better!

Let me know if you get freed up enough to help me out with that, Kieron!

Well, it is kinda straight forward. We set up a non-profit under the State of North Carolina.  We set up our own rules, our own board of directors, and we split up the jobs that need to be done amongst many people. Also I would state that if you don't put in a certain amount of verifiable work you would not be able to get any of the benefits from the group. It would be a strictly a working group. Meaning you work for membership.

Well I am somewhat more free than I have been and I am more than happy to now be working on a new website for URTV!
