No URTV Awards?!?!

Dear Members,

  Hello. In absence of the URTies this year, Nick Iway and Brother Christopher are heading up thier own Awards.

  This is a major change from last year's Staff-led awards; mostly notibly by the 16 new awards categories that are extra/seperate from judging, where members vote for their favorites.

  Starting today there will be an awards table set up at URTV where members can participate in nominating and voting for their favorite shows and talent.

  The deadline for turning in your show or voting for other shows is tentatively set for August 15th and the awards show, which will be a huge 3 hour live broadcast where any and all members and non members alike are encouraged to participate, is tentatively set for the last Saturday in August.

  This broadcast is intended not only to recognize our outstanding members and producers but also to show the community what we are with an open invitation to come on down to the station during the broadcast and participate or just see what we're all about.

  Please note that your participation is essential; if you would like to nominate your show or someone else's for an award please come by and do so. The more entries we have, the better the show will be. Thank you,
